Cartoonists in Egypt cotton to antisemitism

Image hosting by Photobucket

Sandmonkey is reporting that the Syndicate of Egyptian Cartoonists has posted its "response" to the cartoons of Muhammed published in the Danish newspaper Jyllens Posten earlier this year. (Click on the link to see the rest of the cartoons.)

Several of the cartoons, including the one above, have antisemitic themes. (Note the Star of David on the demon's forehead.) Now, none of the Danish cartoonists was Jewish, but I guess that doesn't matter. This cartoon makes it clear that the Jews are behind the whole thing and the Danes are just puppets. I'm not sure who should be more insulted.

(By the way, that silence you hear is the sound of Danes and Jews rioting in the streets, burning down buildings and threatening to behead the Egyptian cartoonists.)
